The Operation: Kid Equip Teachers’ Annex serves teachers two complete counties, and one partial county in Michigan. Click here to see if your school is eligible to participate in our program.
The OKE Teachers’ Annex Distribution Center provides students from low-income families with school and classroom supplies. This gives every child in our community an opportunity to learn and to succeed. Operation: Kid Equip is supported by product and monetary donations from generous businesses, individuals, corporations, and foundations, along with the help of volunteers.
At the distribution center, Operation: Kid Equip provides teachers with school and classroom supplies to distribute on behalf of Operation: Kid Equip to their students in need. As agents for their students, approved teachers receive product donations from the Teachers’ Annex completely free of charge!
The OKE Teachers’ Annex stocks a wide array of products to help provide for the needs of children throughout the school day. Our donated inventory is ever-changing, but we attempt to always offer basic school supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, markers, crayons, erasers, scissors, and glue. We also have incentives and novelty items, calendars, books, art supplies, etc.
All Operation: Kid Equip asks is that teachers and students do a little homework: create thank-you notes for our generous donors!
