Operation: Kid Equip is 501(c)(3) nonprofit program that is fiscally-sponsored by the North Woodward Community Foundation,a publicly supported, non-profit, tax-exempt charitable organization.

Based on a vision, Operation: Kid Equip was founded to carry out its special mission. To accomplish this, the founders selected the North Woodward Community Foundation (NWCF) to be its fiscal sponsor – a ‘charity incubator’ of sorts. The vision of Operation: Kid Equip is to continue to grow larger and service more children in need. A decision has been made by the founders that when Operation: Kid Equip successfully raises $50,000 in monetary contributions for two consecutive years, Operation: Kid Equip will form its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Until that time, we remain a fiscally sponsored program of the NWCF, meaning Operation: Kid Equip enjoys the full rights and privileges of a nonprofit program with all donations being fully tax deductible as allowed by law.
