This book program is perfect for organizations and agencies serving children who are at-risk in Oakland and Macomb counties.

The purpose of the Operation: Kid Equip Lil’ Sprout Book Program is to stimulate interest in reading for qualifying individuals. This program is intended to motivate students and children to broaden their horizons, creating interest and a sense of anticipation in the selection of books that they may keep.

All books are provided free of charge.

Based upon the information received during the application process, books are selected solely by the Lil’ Sprout Program.  We make selections based on the materials and inventory we have on hand. Once your request is approved, you will be notified when you can pick up your books at our Madison Heights warehouse.

Organizations who receive materials are asked to verify that these materials will be given only to qualifying individuals they serve and not be retained by the agency.

In some cases we must pay for the transportation and/or shipping of the donated books and materials to our warehouse, therefore donations are always appreciated.
