Teachers can shop at the Teachers’ Annex once per month starting August 2, 2010. If you teach at an eligible school, please click here to Complete Enrollment and schedule your first shopping visit.
Operation: Kid Equip currently serves teachers and administrators in the counties of Oakland, Macomb and parts of Wayne.
The OKE Teachers’ Annex provides students in need with much-needed school supplies, giving every child in our community an opportunity to learn and to succeed. Operation: Kid Equip is supported by product and monetary donations from generous businesses, individuals, corporations, and foundations, along with the help of volunteers.
The OKE Teachers’ Annex supplies teachers with a wide array of products. Our inventory is ever-changing, but we always offer basic school supplies such as pencils, pens, paper, markers, crayons, erasers, scissors, and glue. We also have incentives and novelty items, calendars, books, art supplies, etc.
Teachers “shop” and receive product from the Teachers’ Annex completely free of charge! Teachers are able to select up to twenty different items, with varying limits. All Operation: Kid Equip asks is that teachers and students do a little homework: create thank-you notes for our generous donors!
